Crossing Art was founded in 2008 with the initiative to broaden the public’s artistic discourse and horizon about contemporary art, reinforce the connection between the West and the East, and bridge gaps between diverse audience groups and communities. Since its founding, Crossing Art has been dedicated to collaborate with artists from across the globe, to explore the relation-ship between culture and language, and to facilitate the boundary-crossing cooperation in art.

Crossing Art is a contemporary art gallery located in the heart of Chelsea area in New York City. Situated between West 23rd Street and 10th Avenue, it is closely surrounded by world-class art organizations. the gallery also has a representative office is in Shanghai that functions as a pioneer for developing contempory-Crossing Collective partnerships in Asia. It’s sister company-Crossing Collective also continues to facilitate cross-boundary partnerships in trend, craft, new media, education and other significant cultural industries. The projects includes the Unbound Artist-Residency-Program in Suzhou and the national intangible cultural heritage development program.

Through the partnerships and connections on a global scale, Crossing Art has served both artists and clientele with over a hundred projects in the domain of art exhibitions, installations, public art commission, cultural resort park, art consultancy and more. Drawing on its unique position bridging different culture geographic, Crossing Art has offered artists with professional support and con-nection to global art market.

In the recent years, Crossing Art has participated in a variety of international art fairs, including the world-renowned Volta Art Fair, Shanghai West Bund,Art Basel Miami and New York Asia Art Week and beyond.
